Hi, I’m Wiebke (Veebkah)
I believe that feeling safe is the foundation of mental health and sustainable wellbeing. However, unresolved trauma, anxiety, grief, and loneliness—arising from the increasing adversity we all face—are currently the biggest causes of concern for people’s mental health and well-being. To address these challenges, I integrate neuroscience, behaviour, and trauma therapy. This approach has been transformative, enabling my clients to embrace safe, authentic, and regulated living.
About Wiebke:
I’m a somatic counsellor and trauma-informed coach with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and groups to improve their mental health, wellbeing, and relationships. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, and guided by warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
My interest in this work is both professional and personal. Growing up in a family affected by substance use, and later navigating anxiety during my late teenage years, I’ve lived through some of the struggles I now support my clients with. These experiences led me to begin my own healing journey and eventually dedicate my life to helping others reconnect with themselves, heal, and grow.
My professional journey began with a BA and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Bremen in Germany. Since then, I’ve completed further training in strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis, trauma-informed coaching (ICF accredited), and energy psychology, as well as certifications in mindfulness and somatic practices.
As a trauma-focused therapist, I work from the understanding that trauma lives in the body — and that healing must include it. I draw from the science of safety, attachment, and neurobiology, integrating approaches like somatic therapy, schema therapy, Internal Family Systems, and tapping (EFT). These tools help my clients find relief from overwhelming emotions, gain insight into their patterns, and experience safety and regulation in the body — sometimes for the first time. I specialise in anxiety, narcissistic abuse recovery, improving self-esteem, breaking unhealthy emotional or behavioural patterns, PTSD, healthy ageing and coping with life-transitions/changes.
Alongside my private practice, I also work with organisations to foster psychologically safe workplaces, and support leaders and small teams as a wellbeing coach.
Clients often describe me as calm, grounded, and present. I’ve been through the ‘hard stuff’ and meet people with authenticity, compassion, and a practical, collaborative approach. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking meaningful change, I’m here to support you to reconnect with your inner resources and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I offer sessions in English and German.
