My work is based on the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, and I combine mindfulness interventions with self-inquiry, psycho-education, positive psychology and somatic psychotherapy. Weaved through all my work is a deep passion for exploring our potential for positive change through mindfulness and self-compassion.
The approach to my work comes from two decades of experience of mindfulness and personal development, with a background in holistic human development and a dedication to studying and practising mindfulness through both academic and spiritual channels.
In my practice as a Therapist, I bring my rich experience, life exploration and academic training to supporting individuals, couples, and families. I see my strengths in supporting anxiety, depression, trauma, existential crisis, masculine/feminine dynamics, anger management, trust, commitment and confidence.
For the past six years, I have facilitated a fortnightly community fireside men’s circle in the Byron Shire, inspiring deeper connection to self and others. I also partner two Northern NSW psychologists in Executive Psychology delivering retreats and men’s groups in support of men recovering from burnout.
Having the opportunity to work with individuals, couples and alongside many other local organisations in the Northern Rivers has been a profound privilege. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you too.
I am currently at Thrive on Wednesdays and Fridays, or by arrangement at other times. If you would like to arrange a session or have any questions feel free to reach out.
